OF THE SOFTWARE
DEMONIO Dr Jean-François Parrot
DEMONIO software (Digital Elevation Model Obtained by Numerical Interpolating Operations) creates Digital Terrain Models (DTM) from raster or vector data. Raster data correspond to an image of the contour lines and grayscale vector data are .dxf files.

DEMs are obtained with different horizontal resolutions and different hypsometric scales. It is also possible to join various documents with .dxf format and also to extract areas from vector data.

A screen editor permits to add hypsometric points to the image of the contour lines, to modify and improve the definition of contours, to correct before interpolation errors eventually present in the original document. There are two types of interpolation: a contour line dilation process and a multidirectional interpolation.
